Thank you for your interest in our fellowship.

Here at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, our mission is to grow a congregation that welcomes ALL to come together to celebrate our belief in Christ through worship, biblical teachings and prayers, while valuing and striving to achieve strong connections and support within its membership and the community we serve. Wherever you may be on your spiritual path, with us you will find a supportive church family with a wealth of opportunities for spiritual personal growth.

We aspire to strengthen each person's confidence and joy in Jesus Christ - at every point in their life, and encourage personal and spiritual growth through, and in our church and our mission in the world about us.

New to the Episcopal Church?

Here is what you can expect when visiting St. Stephens and some frequently asked questions:

Who is welcome at St. Stephens? St. Stephens Episcopal Church is an inclusive Christian congregation. We are welcoming to ALL people—regardless of ethnicity, nationality, socio-economic status, age, education, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression. Everyone is welcome in God's house to worship.

Can I bring my kids? - Absolutely! We currently do not have an active children's Sunday school, but we can certianly provide activites for your little ones to keep them occupied during service. As we continue to grow, we will look to reactivate children's Sunday School.

What should I wear? - We care more that you come to church than about what you wear to church. Come as you are! Jeans and sneakers are welcome, but if you want to be in your Sunday best, that's fine too!

Am I expected to give a donation to the church?- During the worship service, there will be an Offering collected by the ushers. The contributions collected during the Offering are used to support the worship, mission, and ministry of the church. Everyone is invited to make a donation; no one is expected to make a donation. Contributions of all amounts are gratefully accepted.

How do I follow the order of service?- We will provide you a bulletin outlining the order of service with pages clearly identified for the Book of Common Prayer.

How would you describe the church family at St. Stephens?- We are a small, but a dedicated and loving church family. We work hard to support our congregation and surrounding community. You will be welcomed with smiling faces and warm hearts. Come see what we are all about!
